About Me
One of my main objectives in life is to embark on new adventures. After spending years in business courses, I finally discovered journalism. I’m currently a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln pursuing majors in journalism and advertising and public relations. As a double-major, I am on track to graduate in Spring 2024.
I aspire to write for a newspaper where I can continue growing as a journalist to share our world’s story. My passion in communication has always kept me connected with my community. Each story that I write has given me an opportunity to grow my connections and understand a new point of view. I strive to publish my highest quality of work and my perseverance drives me through the difficult stories. I look forward to more opportunities and challenges that allow me to meet new people and write more stories for the unheard voices.

Most recently, I have been finding my voices in internships at the Omaha World-Herald as a features fellow and at the Lincoln Journal Star as a news reporter.

In January 2024, I changed from "Johnson" to "Huber" as I married the love of my life. We are enjoying the beginning of our lives together and looking forward to my graduation.
